Thomas Beck, MD

Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry
Co-CEO & Co-Founder

Dr. Beck grew up in Spokane and completed medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California, where he was elected a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national Honor Medical Society. He then completed training in both general adult psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital, one of the premier training programs for psychiatry in the country. He is board certified in psychiatry, as a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is also a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Beck also serves as a clinical instructor for the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Beck explains his reason for specializing in ADHD, “Why am I so passionate about working with kids and adults with ADHD? I love working with people to find ways for them to maximize their strengths and minimize the challenges presented by ADHD, because I’ve walked that same path. I’ve dealt with ADHD traits in myself and family members. By finding out how I could best use strategies to deal with attentional challenges, I went from lackluster performance in high school before obtaining a GED, to graduating from medical school with honors and then training in psychiatry at one of the top universities in the country, UCLA.”
