Mary Kelleher

Clinical Fellow, Speech-Language Pathologist

A clinical fellow and speech-language pathologist, Mary Kelleher assesses and treats clients with specific language and learning conditions, implementing a customized speech therapy plan to help them overcome obstacles and find success.

As a clinical fellow, Mary receives mentored professional experience to support her in becoming an independent provider of speech-language pathology services. She applies what she learned in an academic setting to real-life scenarios, expanding and refining her skills as a practitioner.

Before moving into her current role, Mary established a strong foundation in her field as a practicum student at Winston Center and an intern at the East Valley School District. She received a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders as well as a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Eastern Washington University. As part of her master’s research defense, she conducted a study evaluating the correlation of pre-kindergarten literacy skills and later reading success. Moreover, Mary is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Passionate about giving back to her community, Mary is a member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization. She also volunteers at Steps for Autism, Walk for Apraxia and Alzheimer’s Association events.

Outside of work and volunteering, Mary makes time to spend time with her family in nature, often hiking, camping or playing sports like tennis, volleyball and disc golf. She’s also a super fan of The Office TV show.
