With a growing demand for language and learning services, Winston Center promoted Hannah Fant to Director of Language and Learning Services and Kara Nelson to Assistant Director. They will work as a team to ensure clients in all locations receive the highest standard of treatment.
Hannah, an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who previously served as Assistant Director, assumes full responsibility for training and supporting Winston Center’s speech-language pathology team. Besides supervising and supporting the team, she provides assessment and treatment for dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities.
Kara, also a Speech-Language Pathologist, now supports Hannah by assisting with on-site supervision and support in Spokane. She continues to assess, diagnose and treat clients for dyslexia and other language disorders and evaluates new clients for language, learning and executive function challenges.
To help Winston Center’s language and learning team provide consistently excellent care, Hannah and Kara collaborated on a language and learning handbook outlining the Winston Center approach to treatment, intervention and evaluation.
