Speech-Language Pathologist

Ryan Aspiras supports Winston Center’s mission as an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist. A key player in serving clients with language disorders, Ryan is focused on uncovering client strengths and building confidence.

In their role at Winston Center, Ryan helps design, implement and document treatment delivery for clients. They provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services, integrating the highest quality research evidence with practitioner expertise and individual preferences to establish and pursue goals. Ryan specializes in augmentative and alternative communication as well as written language disorders. They work closely alongside their colleagues at Winston Center to ensure our clients receive the best possible support.

Previously, Ryan worked as a speech-language pathologist at facilities in Washington and California, including Sonny Therapy Group, in Spokane, Washington, and Speech Pathology Group in Walnut Creek, California. Ryan was a speech-language pathology assistant at iTherapy, LLC, in Vallejo, California, and at Capitol Collegiate in Sacramento. Before that, Ryan worked as an Instructional Aide at the Holy Family Catholic Academy Early Learning Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Ryan is currently licensed in California, Washington and Idaho. They are a member of the American and Washington Speech-Language-Hearing Associations, and a volunteer with the Social Communications Committee of their local chapter.

Ryan earned a master’s degree in speech-language pathology at California State University, Sacramento, as well as a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and audiology from the same institution. While in school, Ryan was involved with Neuro Service Alliance Aphasia Groups and was the Secretary for CSU’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association chapter.

In their spare time, Ryan enjoys video games, coffee and biking. They also have a penchant for learning theory and accessibility adaptations.
